In 2025 Sarah's House distributed over

220,000 pounds of food to more than 10,000 families. More than $450,000 in household goods were distributed to the Akron, Ohio community.

PROVIDING FOOD TO AN UNDERSERVED COMMUNITY

Rising food prices, loss of government assistance, inflation and price gouging, has made putting food on the table more difficult for local families. A recent article in the Akron Community Foundation's recent publication, A Recipe for Crisis, covers issues relating to food shortages, and how local agencies are responding to the crisis.
